Karli Smith and Allison Ballenger attended the Area VIII FFA speaking contest. These ladies spent countless hours writing, proofing, memorizing, and practicing their speeches. We are proud of their hard work! Karli Smith placed 2nd in the contest with her speech and will be advancing to district competition next week. Congratulations!

IMPORTANT!! We have a couple of suspicious males outside of the high school building. Nobody is leaving the building until Sheriff Deputies arrive. Hopefully nothing, but in the interest of safety we are holding the students for now.

As a cross country teammate was giving all she had, pushing for her personal record, Alyssa Wombles slowed and grabbed her hand and helped her achieve her goal. In that moment Alyssa was not worrying about sacrificing her own personal record, she was helping a teammate. The TRUEST of Character. Alyssa we are proud of you!!
